Man injured in shooting outside gurdwara in Canada

A man was shot and injured outside one of the largest gurdwaras in Canada, while a wedding ceremony was taking place.

Police and ambulance rushed to the scene at the Guru Nanak temple in Surrey in British Columbia, after shots rang out on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred in the parking lot where the police found a man struck by bullets in the upper thigh but otherwise not in a life-threatening condition. The identity of the injured man and the assailant were not released.
