The number 13, considered ‘unlucky’ across cultures, seems to be lucky for Pranab Mukherjee.
Mr. Mukherjee was elected to the Lok Sabha for the first time on May 13, 2004, while he got married on July 13, 1957.
He has been living at 13 Talkatora Road in New Delhi for several years despite being entitled to a bigger house.
Incidentally, as the Leader of the Lok Sabha for the past eight years, his office was in Parliament’s room 13.
Interestingly, 13 also figures in the vote value of 7, 13,763 he received in the presidential election.
