LPG cylinder to cost Rs. 3 more

The increase takes the retail price of subsidised LPG in Delhi to Rs. 417 per 14.2-kg cylinder from Rs. 414. In Mumbai, the price will be Rs.452.

Subsidised LPG cylinders will now cost Rs 3 more, after the government hiked the commission payable to dealers with effect from October 23.

Dealer commission, which had not been revised since December last year, was increased to Rs.43.71.

The increase takes the retail price of subsidised LPG in Delhi to Rs. 417 per 14.2-kg cylinder from Rs. 414. In Mumbai, the price will be Rs.452.

The price in Chennai will be 404.50 up from 401.

The hike would also be applicable to non-subsidised LPG, which would now cost Rs. 883.50.
