12.23 pm: Lok Sabha adjourns sine die with Vande Mataram.

12.20 pm: Sumitra Mahajan gives Valedictory Address.

12.15 pm: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan unanimously passes resolution keeping in mind national security of the country.

12.14 pm: Home Minster Rajnath Singh says Govt agrees with resolution on Kashmir.

12.13 pm: LoP Mallikarjun Kharge asks to pass the resolution on Kashmir.

12.12 pm: Lok Sabha moves goes to Zero Hour.

12.01 pm: Lok Sabha MPs discuss financial frauds and the role of Enforcement Directorate.

11.55 am: Rajya Sabha adjourns sine die with national song.

11.52 am: Hamid Ansari: By common consent, the quality of debates was of a high order. During the session, members got opportunities to seek clarification on four calling attentions, on matters of public importance and also on statements made by Ministers regarding the missing aircraft AN-32 and the Home Minister's visit to Pakistan to attend the SAARC meeting. I have asked the Secretary General to give a statistical information to the House. I take this opportunity to thank the leader of the House, the leader of the Opposition, the leaders of the various parties, and groups and honourable members for the cooperation extended by them in the overall functioning of the House. I also thank the Deputy Chairman, the members of the panel of Vice-Chairman, and officers and staff of the Secretariat.

11.51 am: Hamid Ansari: Issues regarding atrocities on Dalits, price rice, status of preventation of the AP reorganisation Act of 2014, role of Governors in light of development that took place in Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh and draft national education policy, were deliberated.

11.50 am: Hamid Ansari: On 18th of July, this session commenced with high expectations. The session was highly productive. There were debates on national concerns on many subjects. Various procedural devices were effectively used. The House has 20 sittings during which it deliberated for more than 112 hours. 59 members joined the House. Some interesting facets have emerged. 333 supplementaries were taken up. Almost all parties got opportunities in the Question Hour. Individual members raised public issues during the Zero Hour. During the session, 120 Zero Hour submissions were made. 21 were instantly responded to. In all, 14 govt bills, pertaining to ministries of finance, labour and employment, agriculture and farmers' welfare, health and family welfare, human resource and development, environment, forest and climate change, personal public grievances, social justice and empowerment were passed.

The incidents on Kashmir valley got the undivided attention of the House. The debates took 10 hours in 2 separate days. The House passed an uninanimous resolution in Kashmir valley.

11.45 am: Rajani Patil, INC, Maharashtra talks about medical needs in hospitals. "Pharma companies sell their medicines at Rs. 500 that would normally cost only Rs. 50. This puts poor citizens in a limbo. They're then asked to donate a kidney so that they can be compensated for the same. Such hospitals should be closed."

11.42 am: Finance Minister replies, "There are startups which will fail and some win. The amount of tax liability that has been given to startups is beneficial to them, and it is a part of the plan."

11.40 am: No startup would make profits in the first two years. We need to give tax incentives to the investors: Shashi Tharoor in LS

11.37 am: Kahkashan Perween, JD(U), Bihar talks about women's rights and caste discrimination in AIIMS with respect to Shashi Mawar.

11.30 am: AIADMK MP Vijila says that without Tamil Nadu's decision on Palar, construction should not be done. But Andhra Pradesh is doing it."

11.22 am: Railway Minister Mukul Roy talks about transfers of officials during West Bengal polls. "It raised suspicion whether they were doing things with questionable motives."

11.20 am: Rajya Sabha MP Shwait Malik of BJP, Punjab talks about scanners on Pakistan's side and dogs on Indian side. I had requested for camera and it was approved. I'd like to thank the NDA govt.

11.17 am: Anand Sharma says that a parliamentary committee looks into this. "Govt has the report. But it is silent."

11.15 am: Uttar Pradesh MP Ram Gopal Yadav talks about 7th pay commission. "Now MPs salaries are very low. What we get is below PAs, below Delhi's MLAs. We have office expenses, hundreds of people come to meet us. Our salaries should go up. We should get atleast more than a cabinet secretary."

11.18 am: DMK MP Kanimozhi asks for discussion on Education Policy.

11.05 am: Zero Hour begins in Rajya Sabha.

11.00 am: Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha proceedings begin.
