Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s son Dushyant Singh on Thursday said his company Niyant Heritage Hotels Pvt. Ltd. (NHHPL), had not done “anything illegal nor committed any irregularity” even as the Congress released details of alleged financial transactions between him and former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi.

“I would like to clarify that whatever transaction my company, Niyant Heritage Hotels Pvt. Ltd., has done is in accordance and in compliance with the Companies Act and Income Tax rules. Every fact has been mentioned in the IT returns,” Mr. Singh said in a statement.

The Enforcement Directorate is currently investigating a transaction in which Niyant Heritage Hotels received a sum of Rs. 11.63 crore from Anand Heritage Hotel, a company owned by Mr. Modi. The transaction was under the scanner because Anand Heritage paid 9,600 times the value of a share in Mr. Singh’s firm.
