Kullu tragedy: Grieving parents leave for Himachal

A special flight carrying Andhra Pradesh Minister P. Narayana along with 35 parents of students who were drowned in Kullu and some survivors left the Shamshahbad airport here for Chandigarh en route to Himachal Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh Government's Special Representative in Delhi, K. Ram Mohan also accompanied the parents.

The AP Government has arranged three helicopters from Chandigarh to ferry the parents to the mishap site, according to L.V.S.R.K. Pasad, chairman of the Telugu Desam's media committee.
