Krishna leaves for Nepal today

External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna will pay a three-day visit to Nepal from Wednesday, during which he will visit the border to mark the beginning of two projects as well as hold talks with the top leadership there on the current political impasse.

This would be Mr. Krishna's second visit to Nepal.

He visited Kathmandu after a coalition of Communists came to power.

The External Affairs Ministry maintained that the present visit was in keeping with the tradition of regular high-level interactions between the two countries.
