Writer’s 10 books published on a day

Malayalam writer Hamza Alungal created a record of sorts by publishing 10 books at a time.

Poet P.K. Gopi released the books at three functions held at different schools in the district on the same day.

Iris Books, Kalikavu, published Mr. Alungal’s books penned at different times.

The books were released at Government Higher Secondary School, Pullangode; GUP School, Kalikavu Bazaar; and Girls Higher Secondary School, Wandoor. Mr. Gopi praised the author for the variety of approaches he adopted in the books.

Titles in Malayalam

The titles in Malayalam were Kalalayam Kanatha Mahaprathibhakal , Priya Kavikalude Priyappetta Kuttikkalam , Swathanthra Samarathile Rakthasakshikal , India Nadungiya Dinangal , Padanam Palpayasam Pole , Oreyoru Kalam , Krishi Chollukal , Kuttikale Ashcharyappeduthiya Kathakal , Mahanmarude Maranangal , and Arivu Padaprashnangalilude .

Mr. Gopi released the books by handing over the copies to children of Vidyarangam Kalasahitya Vedi. Muneer Agragami, poet-teacher, introduced the books at the three functions.
