The mother of slain youth Abdul Shukkoor said that she will go to any extent to bring before law all those who conspired to kill her son.

Court order hailed

Greeting the High Court order for Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the murder case, A.C. Aathikka, the slain youth’s mother, said in a statement here on Monday that her grief over the past four years of loss of her son was immense.

Stating that her son had been killed in a cruel way, she said she could not forget the killing.

‘‘What is his offence for which they killed him,’’ she asked.

Legal fight

She said she would continue her legal fight to ensure that all those behind his murder were handed deserving punishment.

The High Court’s order was the outcome of her tears, she said adding that God would bring justice to her. No other mother should ever be in her situation, she said.
