The Veteran Sailors' Forum (VSF) will be set up at INS Zamorin at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala to provide a common platform to ex-sailors of Indian Navy and espouse their cause for welfare and assistance.
A press release issued by the INA here on Saturday said the regional charter of the VSF at Ezhimala would cater to ex-sailors and their kin or widows in Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malappuram and Palakkad as also the border districts of South Karnataka.
The first meeting of the VSF would be convened at the INS Zamorin conference room inside the INA on April 10, the release said urging ex-sailors of the Indian Navy to contact the INA for membership and other details.
