: Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan on Friday lashed out at CPI(M) leader V.S. Achuthanandan and said there would be no increase in his vote percentage in the Malampuzha Assembly segment in the ensuing elections.

Talking to mediapersons at Sulthan Bathery after attending a district-level convention of SNDP members, Mr. Natesan likened Mr. Achuthanandan to a “migratory bird” in his constituency.

He had visited the constituency in the last three elections only to sow and harvest, he said.

Mr. Natesan said financial institutions in the State were reluctant to provide loans to the common man following Mr. Achuthanandan’s statements regarding the SNDP’s microfinance scheme.
