The Vasthu Vidya Gurukulam (VVG) at Aranmula, a State-run institution for promotion of traditional architecture and mural painting attached to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, has invited applications for its one-year diploma course (correspondence) in traditional architecture.
Candidates with bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university can apply. Those with diploma in architecture, civil engineering, quantity surveying, and construction management will be considered for admission. The total number of seats is 300 and the fee Rs.10,000, including service tax, VVG executive director P.N. Suresh said in a statement here on Tuesday.
Prospectus and application forms are available at the Gurukulam office at Aranmula on payment of Rs.200 towards registration fee as postal order or money order favouring the executive director, Vasthu Vidya Gurukulam, Aranmula 689 533, (0468 2319740), payable at Aranmula Post Office.
The application form can be downloaded from the VVG website vastuvidyagurukulam.com. The filled-in applications should reach the gurukulam office on or before July 23, the release said.
