UDF to take out march to Attappady

A meeting of the United Democratic Front (UDF) committee in Attappady Hills held at Agali on Saturday has decided to organise a march on August 10 to the disputed tribal land at Nallasimha in Kottathara village where windmills have been put up by a multinational company.

Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee secretary P.J. Paulose, who presided over the meeting, said the march would be led by Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy. UDF leaders like Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan (Congress), K.M. Mani (Kerala Congress); P.K. Kunhalikutty (Indian Union Muslim League); R. Balakrishnan Pillai (Kerala Congress (B) and MLAs would take part in the march.
