Two persons were killed when a car hit their two-wheeler at Kayamkulam here on Sunday.
According to the police, Harikumar, 30, and Faizal, 37, were returning to Kayamkulam from Oachira when a car on its way to Kollam hit their bike. The two fell on the ground and both died on the way to hospital due to head injuries.
Harikumar, who is employed in the Gulf, was on leave to attend his brother's wedding while Faizal is an autorickshaw driver here. Faizal is survived by his wife Lini and two daughters.
The Kayamkulam police have taken Riyaz, the driver of the car, into custody and have registered a case.
