Trains on Konkan route diverted

Railways have diverted and cancelled some trains operating to and from the State via Konkan following the derailment of a goods train between Sangameshwar and Ukshi in the Ratnagiri region of Konkan Railway on Monday.

Monday’s 12618 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangla Express, 12288 Dehradun- Kochuveli Express, and the 16337 Okha–Ernakulam Express were diverted via Panvel, Karjat, Pune, Palakkad, and Shoranur, a press release said.

The 22114 Kochuveli- Lokmanya Tilak Express, which left Ernakulam Junction on Monday, and the 16346 Thiruvananthapuram-Lokmanya Tilak Netravati Express were diverted via Madgoan, Londa, Meeraj, Pune, Karjat and Panvel.

Monday’s 12617 Ernakulam Junction-Nizamuddin Mangla Express and the 16334 Thiruvananthpuram- Veraval Express were diverted via Shoranur, Palakkad, Pune, Karjat and Panvel.

The 16345 Lokmanya Tilak- Thiruvananthapuram Central Netravathi Express, 12201 Lokmanya Tilak- Kochuveli Garib Rath Express, and the 12133 Mumbai CST- Mangalore Jn. Express and the 12432 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Central Rajdhani Express are running via Panvel, Karjat, Pune, Meeraj, Londa, and Madgaon.

The 12224 Ernakulam Jn.- Lokmanya Tilak Duronto Express, 12977 Ernakulam Junction-Ajmer Marusagar Express, which left on Sunday, and the 12134 Mangalore Junction-Mumbai CST service were diverted via Londa, Meeraj, Pune, Karjat, and Panvel.

The 12217 Kochuveli-Chandigarh Kerala Sampark Kranthi Express and the 19577 Tirunelveli-Hapa Express were diverted via Shoranur, Palakkad, Salem, Pune, Karjat, and Panvel.

The 09420 Ahmedabad-Mangalore Jn. special train and the 12619/ 12620 Lokmanya Tilak-Mangalore Central-Lokmanya Tilak Matsyagandha expresses scheduled to leave on Monday were cancelled.
