Judicial First Class Magistrate-I R. Bilkul on Monday remanded Saritha S. Nair and Biju Radhakrishnan, key accused in the Team Solar cheating case, to judicial custody in connection with a cheating case registered against her at the Aranmula police station.
Both the accused were sent to the Pathanamthitta district jail.
Cheating case
The Aranmula police had registered a case against the accused on the basis of a complaint filed by a non-resident Keralite from Edayaranmula, Baburaj.
Saritha has been remanded to jail till July 15 and Biju till July 11.
The complainant alleged that the accused had cheated him of Rs1.19 crore.
The complainant alleged that Sarita had approached him introducing herself as Lakshmi Nair, while Biju had introduced himself as R.V.Nair.
