Tata Consultancy services to set up training centre at Technocity

The Tata Consultancy Services will be set up a state-of-art training facility near Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram for training of Information Technology professionals.

The Cabinet on Wednesday decided to lease out 82 acres in the Technocity, coming up near the Technopark, to the company for establishment of its campus.

Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan told the media after the Cabinet meeting that the company was expected to invest Rs. 2000 crore for the project. The training centre would be capable of providing expert training to 10000 to 15000 professionals every year.

The Cabinet had authorised the Chief Executive Officer of the Technopark to take follow up measures.
