Suzlon Infrastructure Service Ltd today approached the Kerala high court seeking a direction to restrain the State government from taking action against them.

Justice T R Ramachadran Nair adjourned the case to Monday.

According to the petitioner, the government constituted a high level committee headed by chief secretary to enquire into allegation regarding acquisition of tribal land at Attapadi by the petitioner.

Without hearing the petitioner, high level committee had submitted the report, it was stated. Even though the petitioner requested for a copy, it was not given.

The petitioner challenged the act of the government against them on the basis of the report.

Suzlon said they have put up 31 wind turbine generators in Palakkad district. There were complaints that the land belongs to tribals and transactions were illegal.
