Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president V.M. Sudheeran led a march to Kuttimakkool, near Thalassery, on Monday in protest against the alleged harassment of a Congress worker’s family by local CPI(M) workers and police registration of a case against his two daughters.

Inaugurating the protest march, Mr. Sudheeran said the agitation by the party would continue till the Thalassery police withdrew the ‘fabricated’ case against Akhila and Anjana, the daughters of Congress worker N. Rajan at Kuttimakkool.

The siblings had been charged with a non-bailable offence, he said.

Congress leaders K. Sudhakaran, K. Surendran, P.C. Vishnunath, P. Ramakrishnan, V.A. Narayanan, A.D. Musthafa and Sajeev Joseph were among those who were present in the march to Kuttimakkool.
