Leader of the Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan has called for renewed efforts to get a tribunal set up to ensure that endosulfan victims received compensation. Releasing the book Oppumaram , a collection of essays and reminiscences on the anti-endosulfan struggle brought out by a group of activists and sympathisers under the imprint Envisag, by handing over a copy to activist-doctor Mohammed Asheel here on Friday, Mr. Achuthanandan said the struggle of the people, activists, writers, and artists against endosulfan should be a lesson for all.

Recalling the different stages of the struggle, the Opposition leader said there was need to remain vigilant.
