Senior actor Mammootty has requested all to stop the witch-hunt against his colleague and noted actor Mohanlal over the controversy that erupted following the poor response to his ‘Lalisom’ musical show at the inauguration of the 35th National Games.
Extending his support to Mohanlal here on Wednesday, Mammootty said that Mohanlal should not be dragged anymore in to the controversies, while allowing him to perform his role as an actor peacefully.
Stating that an artiste performs an act overcoming various pressures and depending on several techniques, Mammootty pointed out that it’s up to the audience to decide its merit. “Mohanlal is our pride. We accept him for his acting talent. Let’s not put in him in further mental agony,” he said.
The actor also said that controversies should not affect the conduct of the ongoing National Games.
