The State teachers awards for 14 primary and 13 higher secondary school teachers for 2013-14 have been announced.
Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb announced the awards here on Tuesday. The following are the award winners in the higher secondary section: K.R. PTA awards
Government LPS, Kodali, Thrissur, and Government HSS, Chorode, Kozhikode, have won the first prize and the C.H. Mohammed Koya ever-rolling trophy for the best Parent-Teacher Association in the LP and higher secondary sections. Government LPS, Karuvarakundu, has won the second prize, Government LPS, Kadakkarapally, the third prize, AMLPS, Pullussery, Pattambi, the fourth prize, and Morazha South ALPS the fifth prize.
The following are the winners in the higher secondary section. Second prize: G.M. VHSS, Thalangara, Kasaragod; third prize: Government VHSS, Kulathoor, Thiruvananthapuram; fourth prize: MMET HS, Melmuri Malappuram; and fifth prize: St. George VHSS, Kaippuzha, Kottayam. The awards will be presented at a function to be held at the Shikshak Sadan, Kannur, on September 5, the Minister said.
