The arrangements for the presentation of the 45th Kerala State Film Awards on Saturday are nearing completion, organisers have said. According to them, the venue at Police Parade Grounds will accommodate 25,000 people. The J.C. Daniel Award for lifetime contribution to Malayalam cinema will be presented to film-maker I.V. Sasi on the occasion. The ceremony will be presided over by Minister for Cinema Thiruvanchoor Radhkrishnan. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will present the awards. Entry to the venue will be on a first-come first-served basis. - Special Correspondent
