The dates for the SSLC examinations in 2018 have been announced. The examinations will be held from March 7 to 26.
The final decision on the dates was taken at a meeting of the quality improvement programme committee presided over by Director of Public Instruction K.V. Mohankumar.
The meeting decided to forward to the government a recommendation to conduct the examinations in the morning hours.
The examinations are scheduled for afternoons as per a government order. However, the recommendation is to shift the examinations to earlier in the day keeping in mind the weather then.
SSLC model examinations will be held from February 12 to 21. The IT practical examinations will be held from February 22 to March 2.
The Christmas examinations for high school classes will be held from December 13 to 21. The examinations for lower primary and upper primary classes will begin on December 14 and conclude on December 21.
