Pageantry and cultural programmes marked the celebration of the Sree Narayana Guru Jayanthi in Kannur on Friday.
The birth anniversary of the guru was celebrated here by the Sree Bhakthi Samvardini Yogam with special poojas and programmes at Sree Sundareshwara Temple at Talap here. A cultural procession was also
taken out to mark the jayanthi. Various local units of the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam conducted cultural programmes for children on the occasion.
