Southern Railway to operate special trains between Indore, Kochuveli

The Southern Railway will operate special trains between Indore and Kochuveli on April 5, 12 and May 24, 31, to clear the heavy rush of passengers, this summer season.

The Indore-Kochuveli Special will leave Indore at 9.05 p.m. on these days (Tuesdays) and will arrive at Kochuveli at 7 p.m. on the following Thursdays, a Southern Railway release said.

Similarly, the services of Kochuveli-Indore Special will depart Kochuveli at 11.00 a.m. on April 8, 15 and May 27, besides June 3 (Fridays) to reach Indore at 5.15 am on the following Sundays.

The trains will pass through Dewas, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Dahod, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kudal, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi, Mangaluru Jn, Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Jn, Alappuzha, Kayamkulam and Kollam, it said.
