January 09, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:41 am IST - KANNUR:

The Kannur University Academic Council has decided to introduce single window system for admission to postgraduate courses in all colleges affiliated to the university from the next academic year.

The council meeting on Thursday constituted a four-member panel to prepare regulation for implementing the system. The council appointed a panel to do the feasibility study on a proposal to start Bachelor of Vocational Course from next academic year. It was also decided to grant sports grace marks to undergraduate students for their supplementary papers too. The council decided to treat Honours degrees offered by other universities in the State equivalent to the degrees of the Kannur University. It was also decided to inform the University Grants Commission that the university had no objection to allow students to do more than one course simultaneously.
