Search operations for the bodies of two missing persons of the four-member family from Kumbalangi who died when their car fell into the Deviyar River near Adimaly last week continued on Monday. Adimaly police said the bodies of the two missing, Joby and his daughter, were yet to be recovered and the police were camping in the area.
Search was conducted in the deep waters with the help of the locals. Guards were sent to the area to look for the missing people. The family met with the accident while returning to Ernakulam after a pilgrimage to Velamkanny. The bodies recovered were those of Gracy (53), Peddiyakkal House, Kumbalangi and her daughter-in-law Manju (27). Manju's husband and their daughter's bodies were yet to be recovered.
