A school teacher was found murdered inside a van near her residence at Uruvachal under the Kannur City Police station limits on Saturday.
The police identified the deceased as Hemaja (45), wife of Saseendran, residing at Uruvachal. The police said the body was found with a stab injury in her neck inside a Maruti Omni at Uruvachal at around 12 noon. She was a teacher at the Government Town High School here.
The police said the local people had seen the van parked on the road side since 6 a.m. The body was found when the police checked the vehicle after being informed by the locals.
