Scholarship for journalism career

The International Media Institute of India (IMII), Noida, has invited applications for the Najma Sultana Scholarship for Muslim students and the Jane Louis Scholarship for Dalit, tribal and backward class students.

Graduates seeking a career in journalism can apply for the scholarship. Applicants should have 45% in graduate studies and with annual family income of less than Rs.10 lakh. The scholarship of Rs. 50,000 will be given for the 11-month postgraduate diploma course in journalism at IMII, Noida.

Candidates can e-mail their resume to info@imii.co.in with a 500-word statement on ‘why you consider yourself eligible for the scholarship.' The subject line of the e-mail should specify the scholarship name. Applications can also be posted to the Dean, IMII, D-59, Sector-2, Noida- 201301. The last date to apply is March 31.
