RSS worker stabbed

A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker suffered serious stab injuries in an attack by suspected Communist Party of India (Marxist) workers at Chavassery under the Mattannur police station limits here on Thursday.

The injured has been identified as Sandeep, 25, an autorickshaw driver. The police said that he was attacked at around 4.30 p.m. by a group of unidentified people, allegedly CPI(M) workers. Having suffered serious stab injuries, he was first rushed to a hospital at Thalassery and from there to a hospital in Kozhikode.
