The Sree Narayana College here will host a six-day INSPIRE residential science camp for Plus One students of science from December 25.
A press release issued here said the event is part of the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) launched by the Union government’s Department of Science and Technology to attract young talents to advanced studies and research in basic sciences.
Participants would get an opportunity to interact with leaders in science, visit advanced laboratory and see scientific demonstrations, organising coordinator Sudha K. said.
Plus One students in science group who have secured 94.6% in SSLC, CGPA A1 in CBSE and 95% in ICSE in class X examinations are eligible to apply. Application should be submitted in the format available at the schools concerned. Eligible students could send their applications along with copy of SSLC/CBSE/ICSE mark lists attested by school Principal concerned to the address Dr. Sudha K., Organizing Coordinator, INSPIRE Science Camp, Sree Narayana College, Kannur, Post Thottada, Kannur, 670 007 by post/courier or by email (sninspire@gmail.com).
