Film maker Renjith will open a three-day children's film festival organised by the Kerala Children's Film Society at S.K. Pottekkat Auditorium at Puthiyara in the city at 9 a.m. on Monday.
As many as six films will be screened during the festival being organised in association with the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy.
Actors and film personalities including Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, Mamukkoya, and Sudheesh will interact with children in different sessions, according to a release issued by the organisers here on Sunday. This was the society's first children's film festival in Kozhikode, the release said.
Pather Panchali , Bicycle Thieves , The Kid , Cinema Ticket , Children of Heaven, and T.D. Dasan VI B would be screened. Children's Film Society president Boby Mathew Somatheeram will preside over the opening ceremony. Director V.M. Vinu, actor Ann Agustin, and society secretary Vijayakrishnan, among others, would take part.
