Rapid Response Team for Palakkad

A Rapid Response Team constituted for the district to tackle problems such as wildlife attacks was inaugurated by Shafi Parambil, MLA, at Wood House, Olavakkode here, on Tuesday.

The meeting was presided over by N. Shamsudeen, MLA. Financial assistance for the victims of attack by wild elephants was distributed by K.V. Vijayadas, MLA.

The meeting was addressed by Pudupariyaram grama panchayat president A. Bindu Suresh, Pudussery grama panchayat president K.K. Sreedevi, Malampuzha grama panchayat president Sumalatha Mohandas, Mundur grama panchayat president Geetha Satheesh, Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF)-Eastern Circle N.K. Sasidharan, Additional CCF K.P. Ouseph, and CCF (Wild Life) O.P. Kaler.
