Rain occurred at most places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep.

According to meteorology sources here, heavy rainfall reports in cm are Alappuzha 9, Cherthalai 8 and Kozha 7.

Other chief amounts of rainfall reports in cm are CIAL Kochi, Mamkompu and Vaikkom 6 each. Harippad, Idukki, Vadagara and Kumarakom 5 each, Kollam and Piravom 4 each.

Punalur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 35 degree celsius.

Forecast valid until the morning of May 22, rain or thunder showers will occur at many places in Kerala and at a few places in Lakshadweep.

Heavy rainfall warning:

Fishermen warning: strong onshore winds from north-westerly direction with speed occasionally reaching 45-55 kmph per hour likely along off Kerala coast and Lakshadweep area during next 24 hours.
