Bringing back the horror of murdering those asleep on pavements, one more person was found killed in the city.
The police said that the man could not be identified and is believed to have been around 70. He was a rag-picker and was sleeping in front of a shop behind Sridhar Theatre when the assailant crushed his head with a boulder.
The City Police had recently arrested a person with a history of mental disturbance on charges of a similar murder at Palarivattom.
A dog squad was brought to the crime scene and it is learnt that the investigators are pursuing some strong leads.
