Revenue Minister Adoor Prakash said here on Thursday that he had never met Saritha Nair, accused in the solar scam.
Replying to questions from the media, the Minister said that the Sreedharan Nair, the complaint, was an acquaintance of his. However, Mr. Nair had not discussed the case with him.
Mr. Prakash said that it was the previous government who had aided the filling up of 250 acres for the Aranmula airport. Though breach of law had occurred, the present government did not want to stall the project initiated by the previous government. People of Aranmula and Pathanamthitta district including him wanted the project. However, some interested parties from outside was supporting agitation against the project.
