Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] Polit Bureau member Pinarayi Vijayan has alleged that a political conspiracy is at work to save the accused in the Chandrabose murder case.
Talking to presspersons at the Kollam district committee office of the party on Thursday, Mr. Vijayan said the police and the government seemed to be going behind the money of the accused rather that investigating the murder case in the right manner.
He said it was the most brutal murder the State had ever seen.
The government should ensure that the accused got the maximum punishment for that under the law by ensuring a trustworthy investigation into the case, he said.
