The police station march taken out by the Muslim Youth League workers in Pathanamthitta town on Tuesday.

Muslim Students Federation State president, T.A. Majeed has called upon the police to stop the alleged harassment of the Muslim Youth League and MSF workers in the name of the ‘love jihad’ controversy.

Mr. Feroz was inaugurating a police station march in Pathanamthitta town, organised by the Muslim Youth League district committee here, on Tuesday.

He has stressed the need to check communal activities based at various educational institutions in the larger interests of protecting the communal harmony in the State.

However, forging cases against innocent MYL workers in the name of the ‘love jihad’ controversy was part of a conspiracy against the Indian Union Muslim League and its feeder organisation, he alleged.

Mr. T.M. Hameed, Mr. T.A. Majeed, Mr. Hansalah Mohammed and IUML district leaders also spoke.

The march was blocked by the police 100 metres away from the police station.
