Ravindranath to attend valedictory function of KPA meet

The Kerala Police Association district meet will be held in Thiruvalla on Friday, according to association president T.N. Aneesh and secretary K.S. Aji.

Delegates’ session

Superintendent of Police B. Ashokan will inaugurate the delegates’ session. Geevarghese Mar Coorilos, Metropolitan of the Niranom diocese of the Jacobite Syrian Chruch, will deliver the keynote address and municipal chairman K.V. Varghese will be the guest of honour at the inaugural function.

Mr. Aji said the association had also decided to take over the tribal school at Kattachira, near Chittar, as part of its General Education Protection Programme. He said the KPA decision in this regard would be announced at the valedictory meet.

Education Minister C. Ravindranath, will inaugurate a public meeting to be held as part of the valedictory function.

K. Suresh Kurup and Raju Abraham, MLAs; Sidhardh Siva, filmmaker; K. Ananthagopan, Kerala Shops and Establishment Employees Welfare Fund Board chairman; S.V. Subin, district panchayat member; R. Sanalkumar, Thiruvalla Urban Cooperative Bank president; R. Chandrasekharan Pillai, Deputy Superintendent of Police; K.I. Martin, KPA State vice-president, and G. Jayachandran, Kerala Police Officers’ Association district secretary, will address the meet.
