Pinarayi flays Vellappally’s statement

January 07, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:52 am IST - PATHANAMTHITTA:

CPI(M) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday criticised Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan for his statement that the CPI(M) had received foreign funds for opposing the reconversion drive launched by the Sangh Parivar.

Mr. Vijayan alleged that certain vested interests with money power had strengthened their grip on certain social organisations.

The CPI(M) leader said the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh stood for the four-fold caste system of ‘Chaturvarnya’.

In the present context, the RSS and Mr. Natesan should clarify as to which caste the reconverted people had been admitted to.
