P.C. George denies reports

September 13, 2012 02:38 am | Updated 02:38 am IST - KOTTAYAM:

Government Chief Whip P.C. George rubbished the reports that he had deliberately skipped the inaugural ceremony of the Emerging Kerala meet in Kochi on Wednesday.

Speaking to mediapersons who met him here, Mr. George said he was compelled to miss the function since he had committed to attending the foundation-stone laying ceremony of the S.N. Law College in Kollam. He was accompanied by Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan and was on his way to attend another function organised by the SNDP in Erattupetta.
