The Chief Minister of Kerala, Oommen Chandy, called on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in New Delhi on Monday.

The Chief Minister of Kerala, Oommen Chandy, called on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in New Delhi on Monday.

Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, a statement said.

Mr. Chandy called on Mr. Modi at his South Block office and it was a “courtesy call”, the Prime Minister’s Office said in the statement.

Mr. Chandy is the first chief minister from a Congress-ruled state to meet Mr. Modi.
