Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that he was not worried about the solar commission report as he had not done anything wrong.
“Let the government release the report. Why they are talking about action on an unreleased report. They can’t weaken me with such allegations,” he said, interacting with mediapersons at Cheruthuruthy on Wednesday.
CPI(M) leader T.K. Hamsa had told the media at Vengara on Sunday that the report was against Mr. Chandy and his associates. He also said action would be taken against them. The Chief Minister should explain on what basis Mr. Hamsa had made such remarks, Mr. Chandy said.
“New allegations have been popping up in the case now. I have answered all questions raised by the commission in the nine-hour-long interrogation. No independent witnesses have given statements against me before the panel. Let the report and the recommendations of the commission come out. I or the UDF is not scared about it,” he said.
"There was a mention against me in the letter written by Saritha Nair. I have given a case against this letter," he added.
Mr. Chandy said the LDF action against him in the solar case will boomerang on itself.
