No self-financing courses will be allotted to aided colleges from next academic year, Education Minister C. Raveendranath has said.

He said this at a press conference called by Governor P. Sadasivam to brief the decision of a Vice Chancellors’ conference at Kerala Agricultural University at Mannuthy on Friday.

“The order will not affect the on-going courses. But new admissions will not be allowed. No self-financing colleges will be allowed from next year,” he said.
