: A function to mark the inauguration of issue of new plastic (PVC) Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) to replace the current laminated paper card will be held here on January 25.
The event will coincide with the National Voters’ Day programme.

800 new voters
As many as 800 new voters in the Kannur Assembly constituency, including District Collector P. Bala Kiran, will be given the new EPIC cards, an official press release issued here said.
