MP to open religious meet

A congregation of believers will be held as part of the Nilackal Day celebrations at the St Thomas Ecumenical Church at Angamoozhy on Saturday.

According to Antony Nirappel, the programme will begin with ecumenical worship and Anto Antony, MP, will inaugurate the believers’ meet at 10.30 a.m.

Zacharias Mar Theophulus Saffragan Metropolitan of the Mar Thoma Church will deliver the benedictory speech and Rev. Augen Ramban, manager of the Parumala Orthodox Christian Seminary, will preside over the meet.

K. Sivadasan Nair, Raju Abraham, MLAs, will be the guests of honour. V.R. Radhakrishnan, taluk union president of the Nair Service Society, and K.E. Abdul Rahman, KINFRA chairman, will deliver the communal harmony messages on the occasion., Mr. Nirappel said

Rev A.T. Thomas Corepiscopa, Knanaya Association president; Mon. Jose Chamakkalayil Corepiscopa, Vicar General; Rev T.C. Abraham Corepiscopa, Rev Thomas Ramban, K.G.Thomas, Joseph Tharayil, Philipose Nadamala, M.D.Joseph Mannipparambil, Radhamony Karunakaran, and Beena Mohan, will also address the meet.
