: In view of unsettled cases pending for months in family courts, it has been decided to take steps to resolve such cases by appointing judges, Kerala High Court judge P.D. Rajan has said.
Memorandum submitted
A statement to this effect was made by Mr. Rajan, who is also in charge of the district, while responding to a memorandum submitted by the district unit of the Kerala Lawyers Forum here on Friday.
He promised to exert pressure to set up additional district court at the Hosdurg judicial centre, for which the High Court body should give approval.
Senior lawyers C. Shukur, P.A. Faizal, A. N. Ashok Kumar, besides district judge Manohar Kini, were present during the deliberations with Mr. Rajan.
