More coaches on four express trains

Railways will add coaches to four pairs of long-distance express trains running through the State to clear the heavy rush.

Train 12508 Guwahati-Thiruvananthapuram weekly express will get one general second class coach from September 5 to November 28, Railways said. Train 12507 Thiruvananthapuram-Guwahati weekly express will be augmented with one general second class coach from September 9 to December 2.

One general second class coach will be added to Train 12516 Guwahati-Thiruvananthapuram weekly express till November 25. In the return, Train 12515 Thiruvananthapuram-Guwahati weekly express will get one general second class coach from September 7 to November 30.

Train 15906 Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Vivek weekly express will get one second class sleeper coach from September 6 to November 29. Train 15905 Kanyakumari-Dibrugarh Vivek weekly express will run with one more second class sleeper coach from September 11 to December 4. Train 12432 Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani tri-weekly express will be provided with one air-conditioned two-tier coach till November 12. Train 12431 Thiruvananthapuram-Nizamuddin Rajdhani tri-weekly express will run with one air-conditioned two-tier coach till November 14.
