More cases of H1N1 in Kerala

The total number of H1N1cases in the State has gone up to 199 with two cases being confirmed in Kottayam and Thrissur districts each and one case in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Kozhikode and Kannur districts each on Saturday.

A release from the Directorate of Health Services said 63 persons were screened in the hospitals in addition to 7847 passengers who arrived in the three airports. Of the 7910 screened, throat swabs of 16 persons were sent to the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and 23 to the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology in the capital.
